Extended Leave

I know most of you never see me anyway with my odd time zone, but you have all been really cool to me so I felt you all deserved a post out of respect for my current plans.

My wife ended up getting me an Xbox 360 and FIFA 12 for Christmas, and I hate to say but I probably won't be on for a while as I intend to focus on imporoving and moving up the ranks in that game instead in Virtual Pro.

I hope I have a spot at the club if/when I return but I completely understand if not, as you have to keep an active roster.

by the way, tell me about "be a pro online" mode, is it like fs? I asked a few ppl, they either didnt play it, or dont tell much.

Pirlo, its alright. Of course its different to fs (everything is) but its pretty much the same platform. Play matches to get your pro BEAST with accomplishments.
You get noobs, but also pro bonders!

The Virtual Pro mode is what I'm leaving for... for a few reasons. The obvious one is that FIFA plays much more realistically than FS, but also, the playing field is very evened out. My 89 overall has no problem dealing with a 91 overall, which is about where you top out in Virtual Pro.

You can adjust your Pro any time as well, visually and position stat wise, so if you want to be a defender, you can switch, then switch to GK next match, then be a forward... it doesn't limit you or penalize you.

On top of all this, full 11 v 11 matches where people actually play together is awesome, and also, I get instant matches pretty much all day long, no longer waiting 30 minutes for a stack for a shitty game.

Of course, there are always those horrible players and raging kids like in any online game, but in general, aside from constant shit-talk banter, I've found there are generally more older players in FIFA as well.

Anyway, that's my FIFA propoganda. In a nutshell, for me, it does everything FS did for me and then leaves it so very far behind afterwards. The town strolling and fashion is the only thing FS offers that FIFA doesn't, which is negligible.
